Community Guidelines
Last updated: June 11, 2026
NAR is a place to share your voice. These guidelines exist so everyone can do that
safely. They apply to everything on NAR: audio posts, comments, direct messages, profiles,
usernames, and images. By using NAR you agree to follow them.
Zero tolerance. Content and behavior listed below may be removed without
warning, and the accounts responsible may be permanently banned. There is no objectionable
content we consider acceptable on NAR.
Never allowed
- Harassment and bullying — targeted insults, intimidation, dogpiling,
or encouraging others to harass someone.
- Hate speech — attacks on people based on race, ethnicity, national
origin, religion, disability, disease, age, sexual orientation, sex, or gender identity.
- Threats and violence — threatening, inciting, or glorifying violence,
terrorism, or violent extremism.
- Child safety violations — any sexual content involving minors, and any
behavior that endangers or sexualizes minors. We report this to authorities.
- Sexual exploitation — non-consensual intimate content of any kind.
- Self-harm promotion — content that encourages suicide, self-injury, or
eating disorders. (Talking about your own experiences to seek support is okay.)
- Illegal activity — selling drugs or weapons, fraud, or any other
unlawful conduct.
- Privacy violations — sharing someone's private information
(addresses, phone numbers, private recordings) without consent.
- Impersonation — pretending to be another person, brand, or
organization in a misleading way.
- Spam and platform abuse — repetitive unwanted content, fake
engagement, scams, malicious links, or evading enforcement with new accounts.
Restricted
- Adult content — sexually explicit audio or imagery is not allowed.
Content with mature themes must be marked as explicit so users who opted out don't see it.
- Graphic content — gratuitously shocking or gory content is not allowed,
even in audio form.
- Copyrighted material — only share music and recordings you own or have
the rights to use.
Your tools
- Report — every post, comment, message, and profile has a Report option
in its menu. Reports are anonymous to the person reported.
- Block — block any user from their profile menu or
Settings → Blocked. Blocked users can't message or follow you.
- Not interested — hide posts you don't want to see from the post menu.
Enforcement
We review reports promptly — our target is within 24 hours. Depending on severity,
consequences range from content removal and feature restrictions to permanent account
termination. Severe violations (especially child-safety violations and credible threats)
result in immediate permanent bans and may be reported to law enforcement.
